Through a joint Industry Working Group, CIfA, FAME and Prospect have issued a joint statement on bullying, harassment and discrimination. You can download the statement at www.archaeologists.net/practices/equality_and_diversity_in_archaeology
The statement has been issued in response to sector discussions initiated by CIfA’s Equality and Diversity Special Interest Group at a cross-sector meeting last summer.
CIfA has formed an internal working party of its own Advisory Council to consider where CIfA should lead on equality and diversity matters and where it should play a supporting role. The final report of the working group will be considered by the CIfA Board in May.
