Both Kate Geary and Rob Lennox from the CIfA are speakers at a joint event with RTPI East Midlands on Tuesday, 28 September at 2.00PM. This is an online event and is free to CIfA members.
Rob and Kate will be joined by Mathew Morris from University of Leicester Archaeological Services and Leicester City Council speakers, Justin Webber and Grahame Appleby.
With a particular focus on the East Midlands, the speakers will look at planning policy and planning reforms in relation to heritage assets, highlighting the importance of early surveys and evaluation prior to development. And there will be best practice commercial archaeological and built heritage case studies from the East Midlands region.
