Social Distancing for Archaeology (SoDA) Toolkit Seminar

Social Distancing for Archaeology (SoDA) Toolkit Seminar

Friday, 20 November – 15:00pm – 15:45pm

This seminar will summarise the work of the Social Distancing for Archaeology (SoDA) Toolkit, a free and open toolkit to help archaeologists enact social distancing during archaeological field and post-excavation work. As part of Historic England’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund, L - P : Archaeology was awarded a grant to create a series of short videos to demonstrate and complement existing industry guidance, as well as produce other materials (signs, stickers, a toolbox talk and more) for staff and managers to use on-site and in their own facilities. The seminar will detail the aims of the project, the variety of resources included, as well as give a sneak peek into the processes behind the development of the toolkit and our plans for further engaging archaeology/industry stakeholders. The films and resources are available on the project website at: http://soda-toolkit.info
